Elon Musk Asks if Democrat U.S. Senator Might Abuse his Power to Attack Him

Progressive grassroots political group “People for Bernie” had some words of “advise” for Twitter CEO Elon Musk after he poked at Senator Ed Markey on Twitter.

Replying to Musk’s comment People for Bernie shared, “Probably not a great idea to troll a high ranking Senator with a history of taking down rich people who just so happens to sit on multiple committees which regulate your businesses the day after his party retakes the Chamber”

Musk replied, “Are you suggesting the Senator will abuse his political power to attack me?”

Markey himself also replied to Musk as well with, “One of your companies is under an FTC consent decree. Auto safety watchdog NHTSA is investigating another for killing people. And you’re spending your time picking fights online. Fix your companies. Or Congress will.”

Making it clear he wants the problem addressed by Musk or he threatens that Congress will.

People for Bernie were excited that Musk acknowledged their response and pinned its next reply to the top of their Twitter account.

“Elon Musk and the billionaire class think they are above everyone else and when they don’t get their way, they cry “abuse of power”. Elon Musk’s existence is an abuse of power.”

Markey was unhappy that a reporter was able to make a Twitter account that was pretending to be the Senator. He shared on Twitter his discontentment with the issue that Musk was starting to address but had not yet gotten under control.

Markey sent an official letter to Musk basically asking, how was this able to happen and what was Musk planning to do about it. Musk had a little fun Trolling the Senator. Twitter also paused verified accounts as they work on the issue Markey addressed in his letter.

People for Bernie’s Twitter shows that they despise Billionaires and want them taxed out of existence. It seems with the reply they sent Musk they are hoping that Markey will come down hard on him.

Being that Markey is on the subcommittee over communication may also be why the reporter targeted Markey in their adventure into making an imposter account, but that is just our speculation.

While Musk is having some fun on Twitter, he is taking the issue with the imposter account seriously and working on ways to fix the problem. For now, though the blue check accounts for $8 is now on hold.
