Elon Musk today insisted yet again that he’s a moderate, firing back after a “journalist” dubbed him a “rightwing media mogul.”
The exchange began after Musk made a joke about the situation involving the Tate brothers being potentially arrested due to pizza boxes that were in a video.
Although the Romanian police have denied that there is a link, it still seems like quite a coincidence, ultimately.
Musk quipped in the initial tweet, “Sometimes it’s just better to make pizza at home.”
GQ Magazine’s Luke Zaleski responded, “Just a reminder, Twitter: Elon is a rightwing media mogul with giant conflicts of interests in various fields that require government oversight and regulation who is openly and not so openly utilizing his giant personal social-media platform to serve his own political purposes” along with a pizza emoji.

XM radio host Tim Young then wondered, “When has @elonmusk ever been ‘rightwing’?”
“Exactly! I am obviously ‘moderate wing’, except as viewed by the far left,” Musk told Young.

Previously, Musk has made it clear that he had voted Democrat in the past but has now been urging voters to support Republicans.
In May, Musk said on a podcast, “The reality is that Twitter, at this point, has a very far-left bias and I would classify myself as a moderate, neither Republican nor Democrat.”
