Elon Musk Plans to Get More Political After Casting First Republican Vote Last Night, May Start a SuperPac and Support Ron DeSantis for 2024

The Texan reported on Republican Mayra Flores’ win in the special election for a U.S. House seat, a seat that has been controlled by Democrats for four decades.

Elon Musk replied to the article declaring, “I voted for Mayra Flores – first time I ever voted Republican. Massive red wave in 2022.”

Twitter user @teslaownersSV asked Musk, “I assume republican for president 2?” Musk answered, “tbd”.

@teslaownersSV pushed a little further asking, “What are you leaning towards?”. Musk openly said he is leaning towards the Republican Governor of Florida by replying “Desantis”.

@spideycyp_155 wanted to be sure that Musk wasn’t going to jump further to the right and only support Republican candidates asking, “But your political donations will be evenly spread out, as you do always. Right??”

Musk answered the seemingly panicked Twitter user announcing he is considering creating a Super Pac. Since Musk has become more vocal about his political opinions and hasn’t been supporting the liberal progressive agenda, he has been scorned by the left for being too right leaning. Musk however, keeps with his talking points that he isn’t a right-wing extremist and only a “centrist”, and that the left has just moved too far left for him.

He replied, “I’m thinking of creating a “Super Moderate Super PAC” that supports candidates with centrist views from all parties”

@teslaownersSV then asked Musk, “Do you see yourself becoming more and more outspoken about who you are going to support ?”

Musk retorted, “What gave it away? Haha”.

Earlier this month, Musk endorsed Rick Caruso for Mayor of Los Angeles. Musk in the past has not made many public endorsements of candidates. This seems to be changing as he faces more criticism for being more vocal in many things.

Musk tweeted on June 3rd, “Los Angeles is fortunate to have someone like Rick Caruso running for mayor. He’s awesome. It is rare for me to endorse political candidates. My political leanings are moderate, so neither fully Republican nor Democrat, which I am confident is the case for most Americans. Executive competence is super underrated in politics – we should care about that a lot more!”

Caruso, who is conservative by Califonia standards, was formerly registered as a Republican and is currently the front runner in the primary election for Los Angeles Mayor. There are not enough votes left to be counted for Caruso or U.S. Representative Karen Bass (D) to claim 50% so the pair will face off in the general election in November.

Musk seems to scare the radical left as they don’t seem to be able to pressure and shame him into supporting their agenda. Musk has even feuded on Twitter with the radical leftist princesses Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. This could make this midterm election season even more interesting, and who knows what we will see leading up to 2024.
