Eric Trump has been busy lately on the campaign trail, working to try to get his father re-elected in November and even spoke at the Republican National Convention last month.
Following heavy criticism from the media on the latest “scandal” involving the president, Eric issued a tweet today saying that he was asking for a friend, “When was the last time Biden donated his salary back to the federal government?”

On August 14th, President Trump announced that “I promised YOU I would not take a dime of salary as your President. I donate the entire $400,000! It is my honor to give $100,000 to @NatlParkService to help repair and restore our GREAT National Monuments. So important to our American History! Thank You!!”

The New York Times has reported that President Trump paid $750 in federal income tax both in 2016, the year he ran for the US presidency, and in his first year in the White House, 2017 and that he paid no such taxes in 11 of 18 years of tax records examined by the newspaper.
There is no evidence, however, of anything illegal and the Trump Organization has joined the president in denying the NYT’s allegations and the company’s chief legal officer, Alan Garten, told the newspaper that “most, if not all, of the facts appear to be inaccurate”.
