Even Bill Maher Thinks Whoopi is Off the Deep End Regarding ‘Black National Anthem Re-Education’

Bill Maher did a segment on his show ‘Real Time with Bill Maher’ a couple of weeks ago, in which he claimed that the separate anthems that are now being played at NFL Football games and separate ceremonies/graduations are being held based on skin color are segregating the population by color.

Maher says we should have one national anthem, he claimed that liberals have “inverted the idea” going back to segregating “under a different name”.

Whoopi Goldberg from ABC’s The View decided to weigh in on Maher’s comments after introducing the clip. “I’m just going to throw my two cents in. I think because we’ve gone backward a good 10-15 years, we’re having to reeducate people. We’re having to educate people about how women want to be talked about, how black people want to be talked about, how Hispanic people want to be talked about, and yeah it’s a little bit tough. Native Americans the Asian folks, I mean these are all things that we, I thought we all worked together and got everybody to the point where here’s what you can’t say. And just so you know Bill, Lift Every Voice has always been considered the black national anthem, it’s always been that. Because the separation of the anthems have been so clear to us [black people].”

“Now maybe other people don’t feel like that, but I feel like you know we have to reeducate and retell people. We don’t think rape humor is funny, We don’t think talking about Native Americans in a really despicable way is funny, it’s not funny and we have to reeducate” Goldberg turns to her co-hosts and asks “So do you think that’s a good idea or are people taking this too far too long?

Maher clearly got under Whoopi’s skin with his comments. Maher took the time to respond to Goldberg on his show. He pointed out that he believes it is fine to get rid of the old anthem but that there should only be one National Anthem, we shouldn’t have two. Maher slammed Goldberg and compared her reeducation comments to Chairman Mao. You can see his full response to her below.

Maher points out the only point he was making is that segregation by race is bad. Many woke liberals don’t care what your point is they will push their agenda regardless and shame on you for trying to think for yourself.

In our view the only anthem this country needs is “The Star Spangled Banner” with all of it’s stanzas.
