Federal Judge Blocks Power-Drunk New Mexican Governor’s Gun Control Attempt

Democrat New Mexico Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham has been under fire (no pun intended) from both Republicans and Democrats after she “temporarily” suspended the second amendment.

Even gun control activist David Hogg shockingly said she went too far with her order to block concealed carry and open carry.

#BREAKING: A federal judge in Albuquerque has BLOCKED New Mexico Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham’s effective suspension of the 2nd Amendment in the state. This comes after both the NM Attorney General AND other *democrat* constitutional officers announced they’d be refusing to enforce Grisham’s order.”

U.S. House Rep. Ted Lieu (D-CA) was another one who surprisingly spoke out against Grisham along with David Hogg previously as one X user posted:

“Leftist Congressman Ted Lieu and erudite scholar David Hogg apparently received their marching orders pertaining to the New Mexico Governor’s gun ban by edict: “There is no such thing as a state public health emergency except to the US Constitution” While I obviously agree with them for possibly the 1st time ever, it’s a bit strange they used the exact same verbiage Insider polls must be showing a big dip for Dem voters!”

It’s unclear if this was a PR move or if Grisham actually thought this order would fly. It seems, however, that the order is stopped for now anyway, by the judge with some amount of common sense. We will stay tuned to this situation to see what arises next.
