Judge Overrules Democrats, Says Ongoing Obama-Biden DACA Program for Illegal Immigrants is Illegal After Ken Paxton Suit

While Joe Biden has been pushing to codify DACA, a Judge ruled that the program is illegal in a suit brought by Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton along with 7 other states.

The judge in the case ruled that DACA recipients who were approved prior to July 16, 2021 wouldn’t be affected by the ruling and would still be allowed to stay in the United States.

It also states that DHS can still accept applications but can not grant any approvals going forward. The judge noted that this is still an ongoing case and that the ruling is not a final decision.

“#BREAKING: A federal judge has declared Biden’s program for “undocumented immigrants” ILLEGAL after a legal battle with Texas and other states. Biden had been pushing to codify Obama’s illegal DACA immigration policies, which would allow many illegals to GET PAID TAXPAYER…”

U.S. District Judge Andrew Hanen  also wrote in his decision, “While sympathetic to the predicament of DACA recipients and their families, this Court has expressed its concerns about the legality of the program for some time. The solution for these deficiencies lies with the legislature, not the executive or judicial branches. Congress, for any number of reasons, has decided not to pass DACA-like legislation … The Executive Branch cannot usurp the power bestowed on Congress by the Constitution – even to fill a void.”

Liberal X poster Ed Krassenstein shared the news asking how people felt about the ruling and if they believe children brought to the United States at a young age should be allowed to stay.

“BREAKING: Judge Andrew Hanen has ruled that the DACA program for “Dreamers” is illegal. He struck down Biden‘a attempt to codify DACA law. Current DACA recipients will not be affected. How do you feel about this ruling. Do you think that young children who are brought here at an early age should be allowed to stay here?”

While this is only part of an injunction, speculation is that this case may make its way to the Supreme Court for a ruling.
