Pro-Trump Florida State Rep Anthony Sabatini recently introduced legislation designed to make the state a “second amendment sanctuary” and to repeal a “red-flag law.”
On Friday, Sabatini announced that he “filed House Memorial 1135, which instructs Congress to recognize Florida as a Second-Amendment Sanctuary State.”
“Florida is the nation’s beacon of Freedom—and no state or local official should administer any unconstitutional law,” Sabatini added.

The memorial references the U.S. Constitution as well as the state’s constitution in regards to the right of citizens to keep and bear arms.
Today, Sabatini announced that he had filed “HB 6083, a Bill to REPEAL Florida’s unconstitutional ‘Red-Flag Law,’ which allows a judge to confiscate firearms without due process.”
“The Bill also repeals other irrational anti-#2A laws—including the law prohibiting adults 18-20 years of age from purchasing firearms,” Sabatini explained.

Sabatini earlier also said that he wanted, “NO MORE MITCH MCCONNELL REPUBLICANS,” in a tweet that has gone viral.

On Saturday, Sabatini tweeted out a picture of himself with two other gentlemen holding rifles and said, “Proud to be part of Team Trump Highway out here at the Republican skeet shoot today!”

Sabatini has sought to to rename U.S. Highway 27 in the state as the “President Donald J. Trump Highway.”
