Katie McHugh has since locked her Twitter account and removed her picture.

After being fired from Breitbart McHugh went to work for ‘uber-troll extraordinaireCharles C. Johnson, who was banned from Twitter in 2015, as a contractor. It seems that the job didn’t last long and soon McHugh was completely out of work living in DC.

According to an article by the wrap, she had even turned to crowdsourcing to pay her medical bills. ‘McHugh’s plea for help states: “Breitbart editor Katie McHugh was fired on June 5 for telling the truth about Islam and immigration in Europe. Instead of giving her a raise, Breitbart squealed at pressure from leftist CNN, which apparently has anonymous pro-Islam sources at Breitbart, and fired her.”’

In May of this year, a comprehensive article on McHugh and her departure from the ‘Alt-Right’ was released by Buzzfeed titled A Former Alt-Right Member’s Message: Get Out While You Still Can. An excerpt from the article can be seen below:

A difficult relationship had left her isolated, and she was on the outs with her former friends. She was going broke and could barely afford the expenses incurred by her Type 1 diabetes. Her time in Washington had ruined her life, and not in just a bump-in-the-road kind of way. She had been to a place you couldn’t really come back from.”

Today it was revealed that Ms. McHugh has sent private emails between herself and Stephen Miller to the Southern Poverty Law Center. The article released today by the Southern Poverty Law Center bullet points to what the author views as important points of the article.

Attempts to label President Trump and his closest allies as ‘racist’ or other labels that seek to destroy, weaken an ostracize are likely to continue as the left, even some of the moderate right continue to use this tactic. In the culture that we live in it seems like almost everyone has something in their past that can be construed poorly, let alone the fact that many non-racist things such as pointing out statistics are oftentimes labeled as such these days. This make maneuvering around the political world a tricky one for those who seek to say unorthodox things on either side of the political field.
