With a recount underway in the state of Georgia, there has just been a development regarding ballots. 2,600 ballots in Floyd County were just found and state election official Gabriel Sterling called it an “amazing blunder” and said it only seems to be that this occurred in Floyd county.
Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger is calling for the election director to step down.
1,600-1,900 of those ballots went to President Trump, which is estimated to net him 800 more votes or so total.
The Floyd County GOP Chairman Luke Martin commented on this saying, “It is scary that this happened in Floyd County. Imagine what the numbers could look like in places like Fulton County.”
He followed that statement by saying, “It appears that our elections office did not misplace any ballots, rather it appears as if this is a computer software mishap with the Dominion system.”
It is odd, to say the least, that almost 3,000 ballots that were the majority for President Trump were magically found in a county like Floyd. Although this doesn’t prove widespread similarities, time will tell for sure.
To be clear the state of Georgia is doing a recount, not an audit, even with President Trump insisting on an audit.
It will be interesting to see if any more Trump votes appear as the recount continues as it could tighten the race in Georgia.
