Geraldo Rivera once participated in Donald Trump’s Celebrity Apprentice TV show. Rivera was famous long before that.
However, many would feel that his association with Donald Trump and that show have helped to keep him relevant despite his constant flip flopping opinions and political views.
Many don’t necessarily take Rivera all too seriously. Donald Trump is probably not too concerned about not being supported for a 2024 presidential run by the likes of Geraldo.
However, Geraldo is still making known his feelings about Trump in a new tweet, as if he doesn’t get enough Fox News TV time to do such a thing already.
“Watching President Trump tonight-who I long supported-my main emotion was sadness & regret. Long underestimated, if only he had gone off after 2020 head high, wishing his successor well. Instead, he incited the Capitol riot & undermined our Democracy. Ahead? Division & strife.”
In our view, as for the riot comments, it is such a sensitive topic with so many varying opinions and views. Social media has strict rules on what your opinions are even allowed to be on their platforms. Many may disagree with Geraldo’s exact characterization of Donald Trump however.
Many also feel Trump was treated poorly with investigations and attacks that led to nothing and deserves another chance to run the nation.
As the 2 year long 2024 campaign season kicks off, many are saying they support, or don’t support Trump. If he wins the GOP nod, many detractors may have to eat their words however.
