Greene Calls Out ‘Weak Republicans’ Who She Says Are ‘The Real Cancer’ For the Party & ‘Only Know How to Lose Gracefully’

With Donald Trump removed from office, Democrats have been setting their sights on other elected Republicans and House Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) has been one that they are focusing on.

Some Republicans, it appears, are all too happy to go along with their condemnation of the freshman Congresswoman, like Adam Kinzinger (R-IL).

In an interview, yesterday on NBC News’s “Meet the Press,” Kinzinger announced the formation of the Country 1st PAC with a six-minute campaign-style video launching what he hopes will become a movement.

The group is designed to stand against Greene, Trump, and House Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH), who Kinzinger called “Political terrorists.” He also said that he believes Jordan is the most powerful member of the GOP caucus now, not House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA).

In an earlier tweet, Greene didn’t specifically name Kinzinger but appeared to be directing it at Republicans like him.

“The real cancer for the Republican Party is weak Republicans who only know how to lose gracefully. This is why we are losing our country,” Greene insisted.

Kinzinger clearly is paying attention to what Greene has to say as he quote tweeted her tweet and responded, “Eye roll emoji, followed by ‘price is right’ fail sound.”

It was also recently reported that Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) denounced Greene today, criticizing her for what he called “loony lies” and calling her a “cancer for the Republican Party.”

“Somebody who’s suggested that perhaps no airplane hit the Pentagon on 9/11, that horrifying school shootings were pre-staged, and that the Clintons crashed JFK Jr.’s airplane is not living in reality. This has nothing to do with the challenges facing American families or the robust debates on substance that can strengthen our party,” McConnell said, speaking about recently uncovered opinions that were offered prior to Greene being sworn in as a representative.

Democrats reportedly want to send a resolution to the House floor on Wednesday that would strip Greene of assignments on the House education and budget committees, if McCarthy doesn’t do so first.

Over the weekend, after snow fell in Washington D.C., a picture went viral that showed a supporter had written “Stand with MTG” in the snow with the Washington Monument in the distance.
