Greg Abbott Signals a Possible Pardon for Man Convicted of Killing BLM Protestor After Indictment by Soros Linked DA

Last night we reported that a man who claimed self defense in the killing of a BLM protester was charged and found guilty of murder in the state of Texas.

After the news broke, many who believed the man convicted of murder was acting in self defense spoke out in his defense. Tucker Carlson, Kyle Rittenhouse and others were outraged on Twitter and other avenues of dissemination.

There were calls for Republican Texas Governor Greg Abbott to pardon the former Army Sargent. Many conservatives were reluctant to think that Abbott would step in.

However, in a shocking turn of events, and although he says that a process must be followed, Abbott is initially supporting the idea of pardoning Sgt. Perry.

“I am working as swiftly as Texas law allows regarding the pardon of Sgt. Perry.”

Abbott tweeted the details that need to happen below:

A Twitter user posted: “Thank you! The DA intentionally mislead the Grand Jury which is a violation of federal law. Texas needs to pass HB2640 requiring DA’s to present exculpatory evidence in Grand jury proceedings.”

Abbott replied:

“I strongly support”

Fox News reported:

“When Garrett Foster pointed his AK-47 at Daniel Perry, Daniel had two tenths of a second to defend himself. He chose to live,” Doug O’Connell, an attorney for Perry, told Fox News Digital in a statement last year.

“It may be legal in Texas to carry an assault rifle in downtown Austin. It doesn’t make it a good idea. If you point a firearm at someone, you’re responsible for everything that happens next.”

Abbott explained that Texas has one of the “strongest stand your ground” laws in the country that “cannot be “nullified by a jury or a progressive District Attorney.”

We will be staying tuned to see what happens next.
