Greg Gutfeld Shuts Down Juan Williams Suggesting That Trump Used ‘Racial’ Appeal to Suburban Voters

Today on the Fox News show, The Five, there was a discussion about President Trump’s speech that he had given in Wisconsin. Juan Williams levied criticism at the president for what he said about “suburban housewives” during one part of the speech.

And the appeal to Fair, especially the suburbanites, I mean it’s pretty racial way that he goes about this, I find it unbelievable.

After Williams finished, Greg Gutfeld asked, “Where was the racial stuff I must have missed that?” He then said, “You should offer an example if you make that accusation.”

Williams responded that he “was very clear” and that it was “the suburban stuff.” He continued, “We’re going to protect your suburban dream.”

Gutfeld interrupted and asked, “How is that racial? Minorities don’t want law and order Juan? That’s not racial to me.” The other personalities looked on and appeared to be dumbfounded.

Juan attempted to explain by saying, “You get suburbs that already racially mixed, he’s back in the 50s. He thinks it’s back when father knows best talking about housewives.”

Gutfeld finished by saying, “Okay, I get it, only white people want to be safe.”

Watch:

Trump received loud applause during the part of the speech in question, acknowledging that he might not have been “politically correct” but he believes that he “saved the suburbs.”
