Hillary Clinton Claims That People Have Told Her They ‘Didn’t Realize How Dangerous’ President Trump Was

An excerpt was released today of what Hillary Clinton plans to say at tonight’s Democratic National Convention. In the excerpt, she claims that for the last four years, people have told her they “didn’t realize how dangerous” President Trump was.

The excerpt says that she believes this election “can’t be another woulda coulda shoulda election.” She also says that voters have told her they didn’t take the 2016 election as seriously as they should have, but want to make it right this time.

From the Daily Caller:

Clinton is encouraging voters to get ahead of the game, telling voters who plan on using a mail-in ballot to request one sooner than later.

“If you vote by mail, request your ballot now, and send it back as soon as you can. If you vote in person, do it early. Bring a friend and wear a mask. Become a poll worker. Most of all, no matter what, vote.”

“Vote like our lives and livelihoods are on the line, because they are,” she says.

Clinton has been busy on Twitter today. Earlier she congratulated Joe Biden for officially becoming the Democratic nominee. She counted down the days that are left until the election, 75 days left, to “elect him the next president.”

She wished her husband and former president Bill Clinton a happy birthday, calling him a “young man.” Bill turns 74 today.

She was mocked for asking people to join her, but then restricted replies to the tweet to only people she follows or the person mentioned in the tweet, @BillClinton, a new feature on Twitter.

In addition to “lives and livelihoods” being on the line, according to Clinton, people need to “vote like reproductive rights are on the line—because they are.” She retweeted a tweet from Planned Parenthood Action in that tweet.

Her latest tweet says that she is “honored to address the @DemConvention tonight.” She asks people to join her “a bit before 10pm ET.”
