In a headline yesterday reporting on an interview that Fox News’ Kayleigh McEnany conducted for her new Fox Nation show “Midterm Countdown,” HuffPost called her a “notorious liar” after being triggered by the interview.
Reporter Lee Moran claimed that McEnany “frequently lied” when she was the White House press secretary for former President Donald Trump.
In the interview, Arizona GOP Gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake told McEnany “I took a page out of your playbook, Kayleigh, I took a page out of your playbook.”
“You really did show us how to do it and turn the tables on these hypocrites in the fake news,” Lake told McEnany, adding, “Thank you for showing us the way.”
McEnany announced on Sunday that she would be hosting the show in a tweet where she declared, “I’m excited to announce that I will be hosting a midterms show for the next two weeks on @foxnation LIVE at 6pm ET!”

Since her show has begun, McEnany has been conducting interviews daily with candidates across the nation.
McEnany shared her interview with Lake in a tweet and said, “Republican nominee for Arizona Governor@KariLake spoke to me about taking on the liberal media.”

McEnany interviewed U.S. Congressman Steve Scalise (R-LA) for today’s episode of the program.
In a tweet, McEnany shared a clip from the interview and said, “I asked @SteveScaliseGOP about congressional investigations if Republicans take the majority.”
“From immigration to Afghanistan, there is a lot of oversight to be done,” McEnany explained.
