Hunter Biden Sits Front Row As His Father Gives Megan Rapinoe and 16 Others Medal of Freedom

Joe Biden’s son Hunter Biden sat in the front row today at the Medal of Freedom ceremony where activist and women’s soccer player Megan Rapinoe along with 16 others received the highest civilian honor.

Hunter Biden was accompanied by his filmmaker wife, Melissa Cohen, to the East Room ceremony.

The New York Post reported that Hunter Biden has been a fixture in Washington this week after spending much of the Fourth of July weekend at Camp David, the presidential retreat in Maryland.

After accompanying his father back to the nation’s capital on Marine One Monday, Hunter Biden was pictured watching the Independence Day fireworks from the White House’s Truman Balcony with his 2-year-old son, Beau, and his father.

TPUSA’s Benny Johnson shared a clip of Joe Biden’s son at the ceremony and said, “Hunter Biden CAUGHT on camera at White House reception as Biden Administration installs him as front-row greeter.”

Hunter Biden can be seen in the clip greeting some of the recipients and one Twitter user noted, “Imagine shaking his hand after seeing some of the pictures from his laptop.”

Breaking911 shared a clip of Rapinoe receiving the award and reported, “Megan Rapinoe receives Presidential Medal of Freedom, the nation’s highest civilian honor.”

The Babylon Bee mocked the presentation to Rapinoe with a satire article titled, “Biden Disappointed To Learn That Pink Hair Doesn’t Smell Like Strawberries.”

When Biden announced the recipients, in the press release, Rapinoe was described as, “a prominent advocate for gender pay equality, racial justice, and LGBTQI+ rights.”
