Hunter Biden’s Lawyer Facing Sanctions after Allegedly Lying to Court in Criminal Tax Case

Tuesday evening, it was alleged that someone from Hunter Biden’s law firm representing him in the criminal tax case, had misrepresented themselves to a Deleware clerk in an attempt to get a filling removed.

Judge Maryellen Noreika gave Biden’s lawyer until 9 pm est to respond to the allegations and is facing possible sanctions.

Leo Terrell shared the news:

“Breaking News: Hunter Biden’s Lawyer caught lying to the Court!”

Collin Rugg shared a more detailed account of what is going on.

“BREAKING: Hunter Biden’s lawyers are facing sanctions after they allegedly lied to the Delaware clerk in his criminal tax case. The Biden Crime Family is at it again. According to the Daily Mail, someone from Hunter Biden’s attorney’s law office called the Delaware clerk pretending to be an attorney for Republican House Ways and Means Committee Chairman Jason Smith. Smith’s attorney is Theodore Kittila. The person who lied to the Delaware clerk allegedly asked them to remove the original filing against Hunter Biden in an attempt to remove the 448 pages of congressional testimony from the IRS whistleblowers.”

“Once Kittila found out about the scheme, he sent a letter to the judge: “We promptly contacted the clerk’s office, and we were advised that someone contacted the court representing that they worked with my office and that they were asking the court to remove this from the docket. We immediately advised that this was inaccurate,” Kittila explained.”

“Judge Maryellen Noreika appears to have reason to believe that Hunter Biden’s lawyers were indeed behind the scheme considering she is giving them just a few more hours to explain thereselves or else they will be sanctioned. “It appears that the caller misrepresented her identity and who she worked for in an attempt to improperly convince the clerk’s office to remove the amicus materials from the docket,” Noreika said. “Therefore, it is hereby ordered that, on or before 9pm today on July 25, 2023, counsel for defendant shall show cause as to why sanctions should not be considered for misrepresentations to the court.”

“Below is whistleblower Joseph Ziegler explaining how investigations into Hunter Biden were always “hamstrung, limited and marginalized…” Obstruction from every angle.”

Rugg followed up his tweet with the response from Biden’s attorney.

“BREAKING: Hunter Biden’s attorneys respond after they allegedly lied to the Delaware clerk to get key documents against Hunter retracted. Hunter’s plea deal is now in jeopardy. According to Hunter’s lawyers, the situation is just one big misunderstanding.”

“We stand prepared to address any inquiries of the Court to rectify this misunderstanding. Should the Court consider this letter and the accompanying materials to be an insufficient explanation for this misunderstanding, we request an opportunity to more fully brief and be heard on the issues of concern to the Court.” Yeah, sure.”

Journalist Meranda Devine shared the emails that revealed someone from Biden’s Lawyer’s office had misrepresented themselves to get documents removed.

“The letters between GOP lawyer Ted Kittila and Hunter Biden’s lawyer Chris Clark are quite something: “Someone from your side unilaterally contacted the Court and had our filing taken down.”

Devine also shared the profile of the woman who made the call.

“Who is this Jessica Bengels who called the Delaware court clerk today and allegedly made “misrepresentations” that she worked for GOP lawyer Ted Kittila and that he wanted his filing taken down? She works for Latham & Watkins, the former firm of Hunter’s lawyer Chris Clark”

While Biden’s lawyers want to dismiss it all as a “misunderstanding” it may come down to the Deleware clerk who spoke with Bengels and/or if the court records its phone calls.

Some are calling for disbarment of Biden’s lawyer, and it appears that his lawyers are trying to distance themselves from the allegations placing it all upon the shoulders of a paralegal who has worked at the firm for over eighteen years.

As Hunter Biden is set to plead guilty to two misdemeanor tax charges Wednesday, will this new revelation put his plea deal in jeopardy? Jesse Watters thinks so.

“Hunter Biden’s plea deal is now in jeopardy after his attorneys tried to pull a fast one on the judge today. On the eve of his day in court, Hunter’s lawyers called the courthouse clerk PRETENDING to be a Republican attorney and told the clerk: our bad, we didn’t mean to file all that whistleblower stuff! Can you just strike that from the public record? You really can’t make this stuff up.”

We will see what happens with Biden’s case later today.
