Idaho Lieutenant Governor Implores the Attorney General to Support Texas’ Supreme Court Lawsuit

UPDATE: Idaho Governor Brad Little now supports the Texas SCOTUS lawsuit.

Many state’s Attorneys General have joined in to support Texas in it’s the lawsuit against four key swing states relating to the 2020 election. Idaho Republicans are furious that Governor Brad Little, considered a ‘RINO’ by most local political activists, and Attorney General Lawrence Wasden haven not joined in.

Governor Little was a big supporter of President Trump’s when it was easy, but he seems to be quieter lately. Idaho is a red state, in fact, it’s one of the most red. This being the case there are many Trump supporters here.

But like many red states, it’s easy for ‘RINO’s to get elected when there are few or no viable Democrats even attempting to run or being able to compete in many instances. Lieutenant Governor Janice McGeachin is not considered to be a ‘RINO’ though and has stood up against Governor Little’s more strict Covid-19 rules, even though they are less strict than many blue states.

McGeachin is now pushing AG Wasden to get moving and support Texas and President Trump.

“Today, I sent a letter to Idaho Attorney General Lawrence Wasden requesting that the state of Idaho join Texas in its lawsuit against Georgia, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin at the United States Supreme Court. The lawsuit highlights numerous election irregularities and alleges that the four states named in the suit exploited “the COVID-19 pandemic to justify ignoring federal and state election laws and unlawfully enacting last-minute changes, thus skewing the results of the 2020 General Election.””.

There isn’t much time for Idaho’s voice to be heard, so we will see what comes of this soon enough. Most recently we reported in part that Missouri has joined ‘the fight’ in the Supreme Court lawsuit as well:

It was reported this morning that Missouri is the latest state to join Texas in their lawsuit against Georgia, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin at the US Supreme Court.

Missouri Republican Attorney General Eric Schmitt said in a tweet late last night that “Election integrity is central to our republic. And I will defend it at every turn. As I have in other cases – I will help lead the effort in support of Texas’ #SCOTUS filing today. Missouri is in the fight.”
