At a rally last Friday night in Ocala, Florida, President Trump had some harsh words regarding Democratic Minnesota House Rep. Ilhan Omar and her love for America while even urging the Justice Department to probe the freshman Congresswoman.
The president said, “If you look at the House with Pelosi and these people, it’s like they hate Israel and they believe in Omar, who came in here and married her brother or something, came in illegally. Come on Justice, let’s go Justice, Department of Justice.”
“She hates our country. She comes from a place that doesn’t even have a government, and then she comes here, tells us how to run our country,” Trump added.
On Saturday night, Omar tweeted out what appeared to be an indirect response as she said, “He is unraveling. What you are witnessing is the weakest expression of strength. It’s similar to the final acts of fallen dictators. We will outlast him because our stronger.”

It’s similar to the final acts of fallen dictators. We will outlast him because our stronger 💪🏽
In a Sunday night MSNBC on The Week with Joshua Johnson, she made a more direct response when asked about his rally words.
“It’s really also just astonishing to see the way that he characterized what love for our country is,” Omar said.
Omar then claimed, “I would certainly reckon, you know, not only Somalis, but myself, the governor of Michigan, our speaker, all love this country way more than the president, who is not only destroying the presidency but everything this country stands for.”
