Illinois GOP Congressman Adam Kinzinger Accuses Trump of ‘Trying to Burn the Place Down on the Way Out’

Illinois GOP Congressman Adam Kinzinger is one of a handful within the Republican party who have been attempting to carve out a niche with anti-Trump sentiment, which mostly has made them popular with the liberal media and Democrats.

CNN’s Dana Bash claimed this morning when Kinzinger appeared on “State of the Union” that he was “one of the few Republicans willing to speak truth to power” as she introduced him.

That phrase is most commonly used by social justice activists and plays well with their attempt to take over the Democrat party.

Yesterday morning, President Trump tweeted out that he believes “The ‘Justice’ Department and the FBI have done nothing about the 2020 Presidential Election Voter Fraud, the biggest SCAM in our nation’s history, despite overwhelming evidence.”

“They should be ashamed. History will remember. Never give up. See everyone in D.C. on January 6th,” Trump added.

Kinzinger retweeted Trump and said something that most liberals would consider to be speaking “truth to power” as he criticized the president and claimed, “My God. Trying to burn the place down on the way out because you can’t handle losing.”

“No evidence, nothing but your temper tantrum and crazy conspiracies. Embarrassing. #RestoreOurGOP,” Kinzinger insisted.

Many Trump supporters have been happy to see him take a stand against the establishment recently and especially by refusing thus far to sign the “omnibus bill” that has spending for many things that they have said for years don’t need funding.

When speaking with Bash this morning, Kinzinger asked Trump to sign the bill and accused him of playing a “switcheroo game.”
