After news broke that President Trump had signed the “Omnibus bill” many are not happy and feel like perhaps the president has caved to the pressure that was put on him to sign the bill.
Sen. Josh Hawley (MO) attempted to provide cover for Trump and tweeted out that “President Trump tonight says Senate leadership has promised votes on bills to increase the #covid relief payments to $2000 for working people AND to terminate #Section230. Let’s vote!”

It appears that Trump is still hopeful that there will be something worked out in regards to how the election was handled as he also addressed that in the statement.
“The House and Senate have agreed to focus strongly on the very substantial voter fraud which took place in the November 3 Presidential election,” Trump wrote.
Trump also announced tonight that “On behalf of two GREAT Senators, Sen. David Perdue & Kelly Loeffler, I will be going to Georgia on Monday night, January 4th., to have a big and wonderful RALLY. So important for our Country that they win!”
