Attorney General Merrick Garland admitted today in a live statement that he personally signed off on the raid of Mar-a-Lago.
“I personally approved the decision to seek a search warrant in this matter,” Garland announced during the televised appearance.
Florida GOP Congressional candidate Lavern Spicer responded to the news by declaring, “Lock him up.”

Garland also explained that “I have made clear the DOJ will speak through its court filings and its work.”
“Just now the DOJ has filed a motion to unseal a search warrant and a property receipt relating to a court-approved search that the FBI conducted earlier this week,” Garland reported.
In the statement, Garland also suggested that under his watch, the Justice Department is applying the law “without fear or favor.”

Comedian Terrence K. Williams responded to Garland’s suggestion in a tweet where he said, “The very Corrupt AG Merrick Garland said ‘we apply the law evenly without fear and favor.’ That’s a Lie.”
“Why he is not going after Hillary Clinton, Corrupt Obama, Joe & Hunter Biden? Why have they not arrested any of the pedophiles connected to Jeffery Epstein?” Williams wondered.

Author Scott Adams weighed in on the entirety of what was said as he pointed out in a tweet that “AG Garland’s statement was empty enough to increase the public’s presumption of government wrongdoing in raiding Mar-a-Lago.”
“Who advised Garland to act totally guilty of something very bad?” Adams wondered in a separate tweet.

We had reported on the statement being forthcoming prior to when it aired and the fact that it was delayed for some, as of right now, unknown reason.
