John Rich shared the news that Jamie Foxx (55) is in the hospital after suffering a stroke. Rich called the news “shocking” as he described Foxx as “healthy and young”.
Rich tweeted:
“I’ve met Jamie a few times, really nice guy. Shocking to see someone as healthy and young as him suffering from a stroke. I hope he recovers quickly…”
Foxx’s daughter Corinne shared a statement about her father’s condition on Instagram.
“From the Foxx Family:
We wanted to share that, my father, Jamie Foxx, experienced a medical complication yesterday. Luckily, due to quick action and great care, he is already on his way to recovery. We know how beloved he is and appreciate your prayers. The family asks for privacy at this time. Much love, The Foxx Family”
Not much other information has been released about Foxx’s condition or possible cause.
Many others have sent out prayers and well wishes for the stars speedy recovery.
