Jen Psaki Dismisses the ‘Let’s Go Brandon’ Movement When Asked About it By NBC’s Peter Alexander

White House press secretary Jen Psaki returned today after her bout with COVID-19 at a press briefing and was asked about the “Let’s go Brandon” movement, which she dismissed.

NBC’s Peter Alexander pointed out, “Across this country, we have seen this new phenomenon lately chanted at sporting events and on signs.”

“The phrase is ‘Let’s go Brandon.’ It’s sort of code for a profane slogan attacking President Biden,” Alexander explained

Alexander then asked, “What does the president make of that?”

Psaki responded, “I don’t think he spends much time focused on or thinking about that.”

Alexander wasn’t satisfied however and pressed on, “The president said when he came into office on inauguration day, he said he was going to help get rid of the uncivil war in this country.”

“So I guess through that lens right now, does the president think that there are things he can do differently or how does he react to the stuff he sees out there when it is one of his primary promises or desires to help bring Americans together?” Alexander wondered.

Psaki replied by blaming Republicans and claimed, “It takes two to move towards a more civil engagement and discourse in this country.”

“The president’s going to continue to operate, as you said, from the promise he made early on, which is that he wants to govern for all Americans, he’s going to deliver for all Americans,” Psaki insisted.

Psaki then suggested that the infrastructure bill would do just that by bringing broadband to all Americans among other things.

Left-wing “journalist” Aaron Rupar shared a clip of the exchange and unloaded on Alexander for the “line of questioning.”

“What an utterly bizarre line of questioning from @PeterAlexander — the implication being *Biden* is somehow at fault for the ‘Let’s Go Brandon’ chants,” Rupar asserted.

Liberals have been attempting to twist the phrase to their advantage recently, substituting “Thank you Brandon” instead.

A recent article in The Atlantic, however, shot down the trend, calling it “just embarrassing.”

“The first big meme battle of the Biden presidency is here, and it’s uncomfortable to watch,” the article explained.

The repurposed phrase went viral last Friday after a positive jobs report was released, following multiple ones that fell short of expectations.
