Joe Biden spoke to Russian President Vladimir Putin today at the Geneva Summit for a long time. There has been much conversation from both sides of the political aisle about the events that took place today in Switzerland. There has also been a lot of talk about Biden’s recent appearances at other global meetings in recent days. Some are questioning his ability to coherently, let alone eloquently represent the United States of America.
Today there was a point in time where journalists were shouting out questions at Joe Biden about whether or not he thought he could be effective in getting Russian President Putin to make any changes to his current political trajectory. “Why are you so confident he will change his behavior Mr. President?” asked one reporter.
Many presidents if they don’t like reporter questions will often not even answer, or just walk off, especially when it appears they are already headed in the opposite direction of reporters. It was also reported earlier today that Biden said he had a list of reporters he was supposed to call on. After this particular journalist asked her question of Biden, he stopped in his tracks and turned around, visibly upset about the question.
“I’m not confident he’ll change his behavior, what in the hell, what do you do, when did I say I was confident, I said, I said, what I said, let me get this straight!” yelled President Biden. He continued: “I said what will change their behavior is that the rest of the world reacts to them it diminishes their standing in the world”.
The reporter went on to grill the president: “given his past behavior has not changed, and in that press conference after sitting down with you for several hours he denied any involvement in cyberattacks, he downplayed human rights abuses… …how does that account to a constructive meeting as president? Biden lashed out: “if you don’t understand that you’re in the wrong business!” Watch:
Was it around 3pm to 5pm? That’s a well-recognised ‘afternoon’ phenomenon in Alzheimers patients, who have my greatest sympathy from my own family experience, but the person concerned should probably not be the US President.

One man who responded to the video tweeted out by John Cardillo speculated as to Biden’s condition, quipping:
“Was it around 3pm to 5pm? That’s a well-recognised ‘afternoon’ phenomenon in Alzheimers patients, who have my greatest sympathy from my own family experience, but the person concerned should probably not be the US President.”
We can’t opine for sure as we are not doctors but one thing is for sure, Biden needs to relax a little bit around reporters the likes of which were a lot less nice to former President Donald Trump. Apparently, the reporter, Kaitlan Collins with CNN, has received an apology from President Biden since. According to Yahoo News:
Before departing Switzerland following his Wednesday meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin, President Biden apologized for being “such a wise guy” while addressing a CNN reporter moments earlier.
“I owe my last questioner an apology,” Biden said to reporters on the tarmac in Geneva. “I shouldn’t have been such a wise guy with the last answer I gave.”
“To be a good reporter you have to be negative at life,” Biden continued. “You are the brightest people in the country, but [it] makes no sense for me to negotiate with you.
“I apologize for having been short,” he added.
To us it almost sounds like a halfhearted apology that perhaps he didn’t really mean, but only Biden knows that for sure, or does he?
