While Giving a Healthcare Speech, Joe Biden Tells Bizarre Story About a Nurse Who Would Whisper in his Ear

Joe Biden was in Virginia Beach, Virginia today to give a speech about healthcare as he accused House Republicans of wanting to raise healthcare costs, including for seniors while causing millions of people to lose their coverage.

At one point, Biden told a bizarre story about a nurse who, he claimed, would whisper in his ear. A clip from Breaking911 showed Biden telling the story to the audience.

Biden began, “I had a nurse… She’d come in and do things I don’t think you learn in nursing school.”

“She’d whisper in my ear, I couldn’t understand her, but she’d whisper and she’d lean down and actually breathe on me to make sure there was a human connection,” Biden continued.

Biden added, “She went home and brought back her pillow from her own bed… but I’m not joking.”

Biden took aim at “MAGA Republicans” during another part of the speech and said that “we’ve got no business playing politics with lives.”

“If MAGA Republicans try to take away people’s health care by gutting Medicaid (and) the Affordable Care Act, I will stop them,” Biden insisted.

Another clip from Breaking911 showed Biden telling the audience, “I wanna make it clear: I’m gonna raise some taxes. If any of you are billionaires out there, you’re gonna stop paying 3%. Not a joke!”
