Joe Biden Touts Lower Gas Prices For Christmas Versus Last Year, Conveniently Ignores Diesel Price Increase

In a tweet today, Joe Biden touted lower gas prices for Christmas versus last year while conveniently ignoring the diesel price increase.

According to a report today, the average gas price is now 19 cents cheaper per gallon than this time last year at $3.101 per gallon.

The weekly average price for diesel, however, is $4.596 compared to $3.626 at the same time last year, an increase of nearly a dollar.

Biden declared in the tweet, “This Christmas, you’ll pay less to fill up your tank and get home than you did this time last year.”

Former MLB player Aubrey Huff wasn’t ready to let Biden off the hook and told him in response, “I was paying way less for gas around November 2020.”

“Gee whiz I wonder what happened around then?” Huff wondered.

According to excerpts from an upcoming book obtained by Fox News Digital, former White House Chief of Staff Ron Klain privately lamented that Americans were more concerned about high gasoline and food prices than free pre-K and building new infrastructure on Oct. 30, 2021.

Klain reportedly said at the time, “The most frustrating part is that we are in this morass on Capitol Hill, no margin for error, and it sucks up so much of our time and so much energy and so much political drama. And it’s a very important agenda. It’s an agenda we have to fight for, an agenda we believe in. And in the long run, it matters a lot.”

“But right now, people wish we were more focused on gas prices and hamburger prices than whether or not we’re going to build bridges or have free pre-K,” Klain added as the average price of gasoline nationwide neared $3.40 per gallon.

  1. This ass wipe who pretends to be president doesnt have one brain cell that allows him to realize diesel prices are directly related to food prices. ALL prodects delivered to retail stores is by diesel trucks. ALL food is produced by diesel tractor. It is in our national interest and health and welfare to keep food production and develery of products on the road.
I suggest trucking industry strike for one week and this government will be over thrown by citizens
