Investigative journalist John Solomon spoke with Sean Hannity yesterday on his radio show and revealed some news regarding Durham’s investigation after Bill Barr’s interview with Laura Ingraham.
He said that witnesses have received subpoenas and appeared in front of the Grand Jury in DC. He then talked about the IG report that was released in December and how a low-level FBI lawyer changed his story when he was interviewed by the inspector general,
“They’ve gotta to build this case methodically and they have a good starting point. We know there was a crime that was clearly identified in the IG’s report. A FBI lawyer changed a document to deceive the court. I believe they will start there and then they will wind back why did that person do that, who else was involved? Who instructed that and what other intentional acts occurred?”
Hannity then asked him, “what about all the people who signed the fisa applications? What about the people who put their signature on it like James Comey?”
Solomon replied by adding names, “Andrew McCabe and Rod Rosenstein. Those guys lied to us when they said this. They did nothing right. (But) I don’t believe those guys will be prosecuted for signing the documents.”
Solomon also released an article yesterday which talks about how the FBI failed to review Christopher Steele’s ties to the Russians. Footnotes that had been originally redacted from Justice Department inspector general Michael Horowitz’s December report on FBI failures in the Russia case. The information was provided to two Senate committees in recent days.
The letter containing the unredacted footnotes was addressed to Chairman of the Finance Committee Senator Chuck Grassley and in it also were revelations that they were later advised some of the information he provided agents in his dossier appeared to be misinformation planted by Russian intelligence.
Grassley took to Twitter to express his frustrations, saying that it “shouldn’t have taken 3 yrs+$30 million +special counsel 2debunk Trump collusion theory if FBI did their homework/followed rules.”
