‘Just More Revenge’ Steve Scalise Blasts House Dems For Latest Bill Targeting Trump

Earlier today, we reported that House Democrats introduced a bill called the “No Glory for Hate Act” which would prevent former President Trump from having his name on anything that gets federal funding and burial at Arlington.

House Minority Whip Steve Scalise (R-LA) blasted them for introducing the bill, given everything go on in the country.

“THIS is their priority right now? Not students. Not workers. Not small businesses. Just more revenge. Shameful,” Scalise said in a tweet.

Scalise also pointed out that the bill specifically targets “twice impeached by the House” presidents, so it would be possible if they were to lose the House, it could come back to bite them in the future.

As reported earlier:

U.S. House Rep Sanchez (D-CA), who was a co-sponsor of this bill, described the bill in a positive manner on her website and said, “The No Glory for Hate Act prohibits the use of federal funds for any: symbol, monument, structure, building, or public land commemorating a former President twice impeached by the House of Representatives, or who has been convicted of a State or Federal crime relating to actions taken in an official capacity.”

“The bill also restricts the benefits given to former presidents who have been twice impeached by the House of Representatives, such as a pension, staff, office travel expenses, and burial in Arlington National Cemetery,” Sanchez added.

Trump supporter Noor Bin Ladin summed up the situation as well in a tweet where she said, “Just when you thought we’d already reached PEAK TDS…”
