Radical leftist Democrat Vice President Kamala Harris was upset over the expulsion of two Democrat lawmakers in Tennesee and shared her feelings on Twitter:
“Six people, including three children, were killed last week in a school shooting in Nashville. How did Republican lawmakers in Tennessee respond? By expelling their colleagues who stood with Tennesseans and said enough is enough. This is undemocratic and dangerous.”
The Tennessee House voted on expelling Democrat lawmakers who took part in a gun violence protest at the Tennesee Capitol. Rep. Justin Jones (D-Nashville), and Rep. Justin Pearson (D-Memphis) were successfully expelled, and Rep. Gloria Johnson (D-Knoxville) only barely escaped expulsion by one vote.
The three all led chants on the House floor during the protest. The Hill reported:
The three lawmakers were seen in videos entering the chamber on Thursday with their arms interlocked and fists raised, surrounded by demonstrators. The gun safety advocacy group March for Our Lives and other groups tagged the trio of state lawmakers as “The Tennessee Three.”
Liberal political commentator Victor Shi was confronted over his rhetoric by Author Todd Cefaratti:
Shi tweeted, “This is Justin Jones. Tennessee Republicans just voted to expel him from the House because he protested against gun violence. Young people are watching. The world is watching. Republicans are going to regret this and pay the consequences. We stand with you, Rep. Jones.”
Cefaratti replied, “I thought you leftists wanted to lock up protestors that storm Capitals for life? What gives?”
Johnson who barely escaped expulsion claimed, “they only kept me because I’m white.”
Twitter user @Travis_in_Flint sarcastically remarked on her statement:
“Republicans in Tennessee expelled 2 of the 3 members from congress. Gloria Johnson won by one vote after begging not to be expelled. Her first statement afterwards was “they only kept me because I’m white.” How can Republicans be so God awful stupid?”
Political commentator Todd Starnes questioned the Biden administration’s handling of a Black White House journalist in the light of its rhetoric over the removal of the Tennesse legislators.
“The White House routinely rebukes a black journalist. They demand that he follows the press corps rules of decorum. Does that make Biden a racist? #TennesseeThree“
The hypocrisy of the left seems to go right over their heads. The divisive language continues to come from those in the Biden administration.
