Kamala Harris Visits NJ Daycare Center Instead of Attending Border Crisis Meeting With Mexico’s President

Vice President Kamala Harris, who was appointed by President Joe Biden to be the border czar, chose to visit a New Jersey daycare center on Friday instead of attending a border crisis meeting with Mexico’s President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador.

Instead, other high profile administration officials attended the meeting including Secretary of State Anthony Blinken, Attorney General Merrick Garland, and DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas.

The Daily Mail explained, “As officials from the two nations worked hashed out a new security cooperation accord and deal with a surge in migration across the border, Harris was nowhere to be seen.”

“Instead, Harris spent the day in New Jersey where she played bingo with kids at a daycare center, stopped by a vaccination site and even had time to sample some cake at a Newark bakery,” they reported.

In a tweet, Harris shared a video clip of her visit and said, “Learning numbers today at Ben Samuels Children’s Center at Montclair State University.”

The Mexican president tweeted about the meeting and said, “In the High-Level Security Dialogue between Mexico and the United States, we express our desire to strengthen friendship and cooperation for development with respect for sovereignties.”

“There are excellent conditions to inaugurate a new stage in the bilateral relationship,” he claimed.

Fox News’ Bill Melugin shared a picture and tweeted today, “Here in La Joya, TX, the biggest hot spot along the entire border in terms of the sheer number of people coming across, this Trump border wall will not be completed.”

Melugin explained, “Only about 500 yards built. Yesterday, Biden admin announced they cancelled all remaining wall contracts in RGV.”

Former President Trump addressed Harris’ lack of effort on the border tonight at his “Save America” rally in Des Moines, Iowa and asked sarcastically if she has done a good job to which the crowd booed.
