Arizona GOP Gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake responded today after U.S. Congresswoman Liz Cheney (R-WY) launched ads against her and AZ GOP Secretary of State candidate Mark Finchem.
In a tweet, Lake shared a letter that was addressed to Cheney that “thanked” her for her campaigning against her.
Lake also said in the letter that she considers it an “in-kind donation” due to Cheney’s unpopularity, as she lost her August primary.
In an ad that is airing in Arizona, Cheney said, “You have a candidate for governor, Kari Lake, you have a candidate for secretary of state, Mark Finchem, both of whom have said that they will only honor the results of an election if they agree with it.”
“And if you care about the survival of our Republic, we cannot give people power who will not honor elections. We must have elected officials who honor that responsibility,” Cheney added.
Cheney converted her House campaign committee to a political action committee named “The Great Task” after her August primary loss.
One Twitter user responded to Lake’s tweet, “I don’t know much about this woman, but my God she’s a savage.”

A recent poll showed Lake with an incredible 11-point lead over her Democrat opponent Katie Hobbs and she suggested that Cheney’s commercial might add another 10 points to her lead.
Lake also tweeted last night “Hey @elonmusk — you have an open invitation to move @Twitter HQ to Arizona DM me and we’ll work it out!”

DM me and we’ll work it out!
As we reported earlier, Finchem responded to being targeted by Cheney’s ad by referencing her father, the former vice president, Dick Cheney.
