Karine Jean-Pierre Denies White House Foreknowledge of FBI Raid on Trump’s Mar-A-Lago, Then Later Doocy Piles Pressure on About that and 87,000 IRS Agents

Moments ago, the White House broke its silence after former President Trump’s Mar-A-Lago home was raided. Many are concerned that that raid may be the political weaponization of the DOJ by the Biden administration.

Jean-Pierre didn’t answer every question the way journalists wanted them to but did do a generic denial that the White House had foreknowledge of the pre-dawn raid.

Reporter:

“…Was the president or anyone at the White House aware of that search warrant, or has anyone at the White House or the president been briefed in the aftermath of that search warrant being executed?”

Jean-Pierre: “No, the president was not briefed, was not aware of it, no one at the White House was given a heads up, no that did not happen.”

Later in the briefing, Fox News’ Peter Doocy pushed harder on multiple subjects including the FBI raid:

“DOOCY: “Do you consider Donald Trump to be a political rival of president Biden?” KJP: “I’m not going to speak to that from here.” DOOCY: “But you talk about Trump all the time…” KJP: “I don’t talk about Trump all the time.”
