Disgraced former Democrat New York Governor Andrew Cuomo is taking a different approach than most Democrats and MSNBC talking heads. It’s unclear if Cuomo is seeking to regain relevance in a creative way, or if he is genuine.
Nevertheless, his recent statement on the pre dawn FBI raid of former President Trump’s Mar-A-Lago residence is extremely noteworthy.
“DOJ must immediately explain the reason for its raid & it must be more than a search for inconsequential archives or it will be viewed as a political tactic and undermine any future credible investigation & legitimacy of January 6 investigations.”
Cuomo has not put on a proverbial MAGA hat. He’s just smart enough to know that a dangerous precedent might have just been set, depending on the outcome of this raid.
Many Democrats are celebrating, thinking that this means ”justice” against Donald Trump because they didn’t like his ”mean” tweets, attempts to secure the U.S. southern border, and aim to encourage American excellence.
It may be a feel good moment for radical leftists, but Cuomo knows this is a slippery slope.
