Kayleigh McEnany Fed Up With the ‘War on Cops,’ Done With ‘Defund the Police’ and These ‘Liberal DAs’

Co-host of Fox News’ “Outnumbered” Kayleigh McEnany had harsh words yesterday after watching the funeral of NYPD officer Jason Rivera.

McEnany declared that she was fed up with the “war on cops” and done with “defund the police” and these “liberal DAs.”

In a clip shared by Fox News, co-host Emily Compagno begins by listing off statistics backing up the suggestion that there is a “war on cops.”

“Just last year alone, there was a 60% spike in officers that were killed in the line of duty from felonious activity,” Compagno began.

Compagno explained, “Generally speaking, the categories were sort of even in how these officers were killed, but there was one category that spiked 300% Kayleigh, and that’s ambushes, both unprovoked and premeditated and that’s how Jason Rivera died along with his partner Wilbert Mora.”

McEnany then described that her household shed “tears” watching the funeral and she discussed Rivera’s widow’s impactful eulogy.

“Newlyweds. They met in elementary school. They had to be separated by a teacher because they were so distracted just being around one another. This was the love of her life, and he’s gone forever,” McEnany stressed.

McEnany then pointed out, “And it’s not a statistic, and it’s not a number. He is a life that is lost. He is a hero. He is the best among us and unfortunately, this is happening far too often.”

“Let’s be real, there is a war on cops in this country. A war. And I’m not saying that lightly, I’m saying that with facts to back it up,” McEnany insisted.

After adding to the statistics that Compagno gave, McEnany declared, “I’m done with defund the police, I’m done with (NYC DA) Alvin Bragg, I’m done with these liberal DAs.”

Previously, we reported that McEnany had offered her reaction to the ambush right after it happened:

McEnany offered her condolences in the quote tweet and said, “My heart is broken to learn of the murder of NYPD Officer Jason Rivera, just 22 years old.”

“I will be praying for his family and for NYPD Officer Wilbert Mora, who is in critical condition. Please join me in prayer!” McEnany urged.
