Kellyanne Conway Subverts Trump’s Efforts, Acknowledges that ‘It looks Like’ Biden and Harris ‘Will Prevail’

In an interview with the 19th, which claims to be “a nonprofit, nonpartisan newsroom reporting at the intersection of gender, politics, and policy,” former advisor to President Trump, Kellyanne Conway, stunned his supporters by acknowledging that “It looks like Joe Biden and Kamala Harris will prevail.”

Conway began the clip by appearing to dismissively say, “The president wants to exhaust all of his legal avenues, as he has made clear many times. His team is doing that, and that is his right.”

“At the same time, it’s President Trump who freed up the GSA and authorized them to go ahead and start the transfer process for the Biden-Harris team because we want the engines of government to keep going and we always need a peaceful transfer of Democracy no matter whose administration goes into whose administration, no question,” Conway continues, attempting to make it sound like Trump is the one who has accepted defeat.

Conway concludes with the statement that “If you look at the vote totals in the Electoral College tally, it looks like Joe Biden and Kamala Harris will prevail. I assume the electors will certify that and it will be official. We, as a nation, will move forward, because we always do.”

According to the 19th, Conway also pledged to work with “future administrations,” and said: “If there’s anything I can ever do to help … they can count on me.”

The claims from Conway stand in stark contrast to when she told Fox News in an interview on November 5th, “His campaign manager is out there saying, ‘Joe Biden will be the next president of the United States.’ That should not be said, because we are still counting votes.”

“And just as Joe Biden is telling people to be patient, I’ve been saying that since election night. If they spent three years investigating this president, impeaching this president, we can certainly wait for three hours, three days, three weeks, or three months, however long it takes for every legal and on-time vote to be counted,” Conway added at the time.
