‘Ketanji Letting Pedophiles Off Easy is the ‘Vile’ Part, Here’ Lauren Boebert Responds to Joe Biden’s Accusations Against Senate Republicans

While celebrating the confirmation of his Supreme Court nominee, Joe Biden blasted Senate Republicans for what he described as “vile” abuse against his nominee, Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson.

U.S. House Rep Lauren Boebert (R-CO) responded to Biden’s accusations in a tweet today where she called Jackson’s sentences for pedophiles “the vile part, here.”

Biden gave a speech alongside the newest justice on the south lawn of the White House as the sun shone and the Marine band played show tunes and pop songs.

“I knew it wouldn’t be easy but I knew the person I nominated would be put through a painful and difficult confirmation process,” Biden declared.

Biden then suggested, “But I have to tell you, what Judge Jackson was put through was well beyond that.”

“There was verbal abuse, the anger, the constant interruptions, the most vile, baseless assertions and accusations,” Biden claimed.

“In the face of it all Judge Jackson showed the incredible character and integrity she possesses,” Biden asserted.

Fact checks have given credence to what Biden claimed, like PolitiFact, which acknowledged that in most cases, Jackson’s sentences were below the guidelines and below the prosecutors’ recommendations.

The fact-checkers then said, however, that Jackson’s approach to sentencing in child pornography cases did not differ significantly from that of other judges, data show.

A federal study found that in more than two-thirds of these cases, judges issue sentences below federal guidelines, they noted.

Boebert shot back at Biden in the tweet, “Republicans were not ‘vile’ in their treatment of Ketanji Brown Jackson.”

“Ketanji letting pedophiles off easy is the ‘vile’ part, here,” Boebert insisted.
