U.S. Congresswoman Lauren Boebert (R-CO) responded today after comedian Kathy Griffin predicted “civil war” if Republicans win in November.
Griffin declared yesterday in a tweet, “If you don’t want a Civil War, vote for Democrats in November. If you do want Civil War, vote Republican.”
Boebert shot back today in a tweet of her own, “Kathy Griffin’s parents really missed the mark by not naming her Karen.”
“Civil War just because she doesn’t get her way? Pathetic.” Boebert added.

Griffin has received a lot of pushback since making the tweet from those on the right, although some on the left have rallied to her defense.
Activist Fred Guttenberg quote tweeted Griffin and said, “To the MAGA morons complaining about this from @kathygriffin, let me help your flea sized brains understand.”
“She is saying we see you lunatics and what you are doing. We understand your desire for violence. If we want to save the country from you, vote Democrat. I agree,” Guttenberg claimed.

Breitbart’s Kristina Wong responded in a quote tweet to Griffin, “This sounds like a threat.”
Griffin replied with a quote tweet of Wong where she said, “You guys. The maga blue checks are at it again.”
“Because they are constantly threatening Civil War, they are now trying to suggest that I am the one who is threatening a Civil War. Because you know, that’s my thing,” Griffin insisted, sarcastically as she added an eye roll emoji.
