Lauren Boebert Checkmates Liberals Who Claimed Elon Musk Buying Twitter Would Be the End of Democracy By Pointing Out That He Incorporates Polling Into His Major Decisions

U.S. House Rep Lauren Boebert (R-CO) today checkmated liberals who claimed that Elon Musk buying Twitter would be the end of Democracy.

In a tweet, Boebert noted, “Liberals said @ElonMusk buying Twitter would be the end of democracy.”

“Funny then that he’s made almost every major decision by a public poll,” Boebert pointed out.

Musk has made use of the polling option on Twitter recently prior to two big decisions.

A poll on whether or not to reinstate former President and 2024 GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump concluded with 52% approving.

Musk reinstated Trump not long thereafter, although he has yet to use the platform again.

Another poll asked whether Twitter should offer a general amnesty to suspended accounts.

That poll concluded with an overwhelming majority approving at 72%.

Musk responded to the result, “The people have spoken. Amnesty begins next week.”
