On Friday, White House press secretary Jen Psaki appeared on ABC’s “The View” and tried to rally Democrats after what many would call a tough week for the party.
“So my advice to everyone out there who’s frustrated, sad, angry, pissed off, feel those emotions, go to a kickboxing class, have a margarita, do whatever you need to do this weekend and then wake up on Monday morning, we’ve got to keep fighting,” Psaki suggested.
U.S. House Rep Lauren Boebert (R-CO) mocked Psaki today in a tweet where she pointed out the latest poll numbers released today by NBC.
“A new NBC poll says 72% say the country is headed in the wrong direction and 61% say their family’s income is falling behind the cost of living,” Boebert explained.
Boebert then quipped, “Think about that while you’re kickboxing and drinking margaritas.”

Think about that while you’re kickboxing and drinking margaritas.
The figures were revealed this morning on “Meet the Press” with Chuck Todd, who reported that “54% of adults disapprove of Mr. Biden’s performance” as well.
“Voters are in a sour mood. Asked to describe America in their own words, voters said: ‘divided,’ ‘negative,’ ‘lost,’ ‘downhill,'” it was reported.
Additionallly, “The economy replaced Covid as the top issue. Job creation is up & unemployment is down. But 61% say income is falling behind the cost of living.”
Todd predicted that Democrats could receive a “shellacking” in the midterm elections.
Midterm meter: 2 of 3 indexes put Democrats in shellacking territory for the midterms.
