Led By #Walkaway Founder Brandon Straka, Crowd Chants ‘CNN Sucks’ in Front of Network’s Atlanta Headquarters

Brandon Straka, the leader of the #Walkaway movement, which encourages people to leave the Democrat party, has been holding rallies lately in cities across the country including Washington DC last weekend, the day after the Million MAGA March.

Today, he is holding one in Atlanta, Georgia with a group of supporters gathered in front of CNN’s headquarters. A video by Brendan Gutenschwager (@BGontheScene) shows the group at one point chanting, “CNN Sucks!”

Another video shows the crowd chanting “Shame on you!” Later in that video, Straka explains that “the evidence speaks for itself” and he had decided to walk away “largely because the fake news in this country cannot be trusted, cannot be trusted, and they’ve got to go.”

Straka added, “It’s time for the fake news to go. How about that?” He then leads the crowd in a chant of “It’s time for you to go!”

Yesterday, at a White House press conference, Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany refused to call on on CNN’s Kaitlan Collins and instead told her that she doesn’t “call on activists.”

Collins attempted to save face by tweeting, “It’s understandable why someone who hasn’t done their job — taking questions from reporters — in weeks would confuse someone else doing theirs with activism.”

Conservatives are busy this morning in Georgia, including Marjorie Taylor Greene who tweeted that she has a “Great group of volunteer door knockers for Super Saturday in Northwest Georgia! Turning out the vote for @KLoeffler and @Perduesenate on January 5!”

Two weeks ago, the night after the election, Straka was involved in the rally held outside the Maricopa County elections office in Arizona as election counters inside tabulated the county’s ballots.

The Daily Beast attempted to downplay the gathering, calling it a “MAGA clown show” and suggesting that Straka was in it for the money.
