Leftist Patton Oswalt Calls COVID-19 Deaths “Goalposts” in Bad Faith, Trump-Trashing Post

Rabid leftist, Trump hater, and arguably washed-up comedian Patton Oswalt took to Twitter to slam President Trump on his Coronavirus response, as many states are starting to re-open. This comes after a months-long economic crushing period of stay-at-home orders and many businesses going under for good.

President Trump has said time and time again that he wants to prioritize the health of the American people, but that we also have to think of the economy. Of course, many leftists are taking this out of context and making bad faith arguments that President Trump is risking lives so he can help the stock market and his re-election campaign.

Oswalt posted a Fox Business video clip that was tweeted by Aaron Rupar originally, calling President Trump’s death toll predictions, goalposts, and claiming that he has been moving them. Oswalt tweeted:

“He moved the goalposts again. And he’ll do it next month when we’re closing in on 200,000 deaths. And again, and again, and…” See below:

To try to say that President Trump is moving goalposts to begin with, somehow implies that President Trump has any control over how bad the virus has hit folks, after doing everything in the administration’s power to reasonably manage the pandemic.

It’s clear with Oswalt’s tweet as well as many other left-wing politicians and pundits that they don’t really care about the facts, they just want to blame President Trump for absolutely anything they can to help buoy Joe Biden’s slim chance of taking the presidency in November.

Previously we reported on how Patton Oswalt criticized Christians for supporting Trump, despite the fact that he’s an atheist, and how he has a history of pedophile like tweets. Apparently he still has a large enough base though, despite all this, who will take his out of context words and jabs and carry them around to the dark corners of the internet.
