In today’s primary election, U.S. House Rep Lauren Boebert (R-CO) cruised to victory over her opponent Don Coram.
With 76% of the votes tallied, Boebert holds a lead of 64%-36% over Coram, who she also out-fundraised by a large amount as well.
After calling the race in Boebert’s favor, election expert Dave Wasserman called the seat a “Solid R.”
Wasserman’s announcement that Boebert was the victor set off a number of replies from displeased leftists.
I've seen enough: Rep. Lauren Boebert (R) defeats state Sen. Don Coram (R) in the #CO03 GOP primary. @CookPolitical November rating: Solid R.

Leftists on Twitter had been given some kind of hope as some speculated that Boebert could be defeated if Democrats in the district came out and voted against her.
Others tweeted out hopefully prior to the results coming in.
“On a scale of 1-10 how happy would you be to see Lauren Boebert lose her primary today?”

Ultimately, the race was not close and devastated leftists sounded off on the social media site.
