Liberals have taken advantage of news that a bridge collapsed in Pittsburgh on the day Joe Biden is set to visit to tout the infrastructure bill.
KDKA-TV reported that Biden will now also stop by the site of the bridge collapse before heading to his scheduled appearance.
Democrat PA State Rep Malcolm Kenyatta, who is running for U.S. Senate, responded to the news, “I’m grateful that as of now there are no reports of injuries in the bridge collapse in Pittsburgh.”
“When I was at the White House with POTUS as he signed the infrastructure bill I was thinking about possible tragedies like this that these investments can help us avoid,” Kenyatta explained.

U.S. House Rep Shontel Brown (D-OH) also weighed in on the situation and said, “My thoughts are with all those injured in the bridge collapse in Pittsburgh today.”
“This shows why the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law is so important. It makes the largest investment in generations to repair bridges, including the more than 1,000 in Ohio in poor condition,” Brown added.

Liberal comedian Steve Hofstetter, who moved to the city last year according to his pinned tweet, had harsh words for Republicans who voted against the bill.
“I hope the 200+ republicans who voted against the infrastructure bill see their political careers collapse like they were a bridge in Pittsburgh,” Hofstetter insisted in a two-part tweet.
Hofstetter then claimed, “We are extremely lucky no one died.”
“I hope these a**holes get caught in an eternity of traffic. I hope they blow out their tires on potholes. I hope their calls drop and their power goes out and all their flights get stuck on the tarmac. They can all go Frick themselves,” Hofstetter ranted.
