Lisa Marie Boothe Turned Down For Spot on ‘The View’ Over Refusal to Get the COVID Vaccine

It was reported yesterday that Fox News contributor Lisa Marie Boothe was turned down for a spot on ABC’s “The View” over her refusal to get the COVID vaccine.

While she was never officially offered the job, Boothe was interviewed by ABC News executives earlier this year and the discussions fell apart after she made clear that she would not get the shots required by the broadcaster.

As for her current employment, Fox only requires vaccines for employees at its New York City headquarters and Boothe is currently based in Miami.

In the fall, Boothe made it clear in both an appearance on Dan Bongino’s show and in a column in Newsweek that she would not be getting jabbed.

Boothe appeared to confirm the story by responding to a number of different tweets by various conservatives congratulating her for standing strong despite a potential career advancement opportunity.

Jack Posobiac, who was one of the first to tweet the news, said about the news in a tweet, “Integrity.” Boothe quote tweeted Posobiac and responded, “Thanks, Jack! I appreciate it.”

Jesse Kelly tweeted, “Very proud of my friend @LisaMarieBoothe. That’s walking the walk right there. Bravo.” Boothe thanked him as well in a quote tweet.

Dr. Simone Gold said in a tweet about the report, “Much respect to @LisaMarieBoothe for refusing to cower in the face of corporate corruption.”

“Our right to bodily integrity is sacred, and it’s courage like this that is required to protect it. America’s Frontline Doctors stands behind everyone who chooses courage,” Gold added and Boothe thanked her as well in a quote tweet.

Boothe is also currently catching a lot of backlash for a Monday tweet where she declared, “I understand why people don’t want to get COVID. It sucks, but it’s just so contagious it’s kind of inevitable.”

“How much of society do you want to destroy for something you are likely going to get no matter what precautions you take?” Boothe wondered.

MSNBC’s Joy Reid made a bizarre comparison in a quote tweet where she replaced COVID with a potential zombie apocalypse.

“I understand why people don’t want to be zombies. They’re ugly and they can’t stop themselves from eating brains. But they’re biting so many people, it’s probably inevitable they get us all. How much of society do you want to destroy for an apocalypse that’s happening anyway?” Reid suggested.

Boothe shot back in a quote tweet, “Joy Reid has weighed in and it’s as illogical as you would expect…”
