Liz Cheney Pontificates During Final Jan. 6 Hearing, Insists Trump is ‘Unfit for Any Office’

At the final Jan. 6 House Select Committee hearing today, U.S. House Rep Liz Cheney (R-WY) pontificated one last time against former President Donald Trump.

In a clip shared by Disclose.TV, Cheney insisted, “No man who would behave that way at that moment in time can ever serve in any position of authority in our nation again, he is unfit for any office.”

“The committee recognizes that our work has only begun, it’s only the initial step in addressing President Trump’s effort to remain in office illegally,” Cheney continued.

Cheney also declared that “Prosecutors are considering the implications of the conduct that we describe in our report.”

In the last few weeks, Cheney has been fairly quiet as her time in office comes to an end at the end of the month.

At the beginning of the month, however, Cheney responded to a Truth Social post that Trump had made after the #TwitterFiles were released.

Cheney, however, has yet to address the shocking revelations that have been revealed in the #TwitterFiles, including the latest ones that show the relationship between Twitter and the FBI.

“Donald Trump believes we should terminate ‘all rules, regulations and articles, even those found in the Constitution’ to overturn the 2020 election. That was his view on 1/6 and remains his view today. No honest person can now deny that Trump is an enemy of the Constitution,” Cheney asserted in the Dec. 4 tweet on her personal account.

In November, however, Cheney did reference Trump’s return to Twitter in a tweet on her government account, while also hyping up the Jan. 6 hearings.

“With Trump back on Twitter, it’s a good time to watch this Jan 6 hearing. It covers each of Trump’s tweets that day, including those that have been deleted, and features multiple Trump WH staff describing his inexcusable conduct during the violence,” Cheney said at the time.
