‘Lyin’ Adam Schiff Frantically Kvetches as Donald Trump May Also Soon Regain his Facebook Privileges

U.S. House Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) shares that Donald Trump’s suspension on Facebook is set to expire in 24 days. He and Senator Sheldon Whitehouse (D-RI) are calling on META to keep Trump offline “for good”.

Schiff tweeted:

“After inciting a violent insurrection, Donald Trump was suspended from Facebook. That suspension is set to expire in just 24 days – despite the fact that he’s more unhinged and dangerous than ever. @SenWhitehouse and I are calling on Meta to keep Trump offline. For good.”

It seems Schiff’s argument gets weaker and weaker. With the recent release of “The Twitter Files”, which went over the suspension of former President Trump from Twitter, showing the stretch that was made to justify his ban on the platform, many are assuming with pressure from government entities as well as celebrities Facebook likely did the same.

Schiff however doesn’t care, his “Trump derangement syndrome” is still very strong. He continually takes shots at the former president. Schiff was as most know one of the loudest voices calling for Trump’s repeated impeachment. Without Trump, Schiff may be at a loss for words during his interviews.

It seems unlikely that META will expand on Trump’s suspension as it soon comes to an end, but we don’t know for sure. Trump was reinstated on Twitter and has left the account untouched, with his last tweet from January 8th, 2021.

Schiff and Whitehouse sent a letter to META’s President of Global Affairs, Nicholas Clegg.

They ask Meta to continue his suspension beyond January and ask them to also “carefully monitor and counter the spread of harmful election misinformation, including the Big Lie about the 2020 presidential election, on Facebook.”

The letter continues, ” it is essential that your company maintain its platform ban on former president Trump… Two years later, we can see unequivocally that Trump is still spreading the Big Lie and thus undermining our democracy. Indeed, he has expressed support for pardoning people involved in the January 6th attack on police, should he ever get the chance.”

The letter then turns to “other high-profile individuals” with whom they don’t agree with. They cite, “17 candidates claiming the 2022 elections will be rigged or corrupt posted on Facebook”.

Schiff finds it unacceptable that “none of these posts on Facebook being labeled or challenged.” the letter adds, “This is highly troubling, and an area where Meta must improve its oversight and enforcement.”

The letter moves on to bullet points they wish to be answered by Clegg, in part asking that Meta commit to keeping their “election infrastructure in place year-round”.

We will soon see if Trump’s account remains suspended or if it comes back. It seems unlikely that Trump will use the account, but who knows he may utilize it with the fact that he is running for president once again.

According to Truth Social, Trump has a major announcement coming soon, and it’s unclear if it’s related.
