West Virginia Moderate Democrat U.S. Senator Joe Manchin threw yet another monkey wrench into Biden’s plans as he demanded a vote on the infrastructure bill without any social and climate spending.

Following the Senate passing a bipartisan infrastructure bill, Senator Manchin demanded the House pass it as well before he would support a separate bill with climate and social funding. It appears Progressive Democrats are holding the infrastructure bill “hostage”, in Manchin’s words, in order to try to get him to support a lofty reconciliation bill.
Manchin said. The political games have to stop. Holding this bill hostage is not going to work in getting my support for the reconciliation bill.” Clearly, tensions are rising between far-left Democrats and the moderate Senator.
There seems to be a sharp divide in the Democrat Party right now as Manchin pointed out, “I’ve never seen anything like this. The president of the United States has addressed the House Democratic Caucus twice to urge action on the bipartisan infrastructure bill … and still no action. In my view, this is not how the United States Congress should operate.”
In terms of the expensive reconciliation bill, Manchin said, “To be clear, I will not support the reconciliation legislation without knowing how the bill would impact our debt and our economy in our country we won’t know that until we work through the text.”

The Liberty Daily also reported today in part:
Senator Joe Manchin told the press today that he will not support the massive spending bill put forth by Democrats and the Biden-Harris regime until he and all on Capitol Hill have a full understanding of the effects it will have on the debt and inflation.
