Marjorie Taylor Greene Takes Aim at The Lincoln Project Who ‘Pretends to be Republican’

In a New York Times op-ed last December, George T. Conway III, Steve Schmidt, John Weaver, and Rick Wilson declared “We are Republicans, and we want Trump defeated.”

The group announced the formation of the Lincoln Project and promised that “Over these next 11 months, our efforts will be dedicated to defeating President Trump and Trumpism at the ballot box and to elect those patriots who will hold the line.”

It appears that the work of this group will continue and despite calling themselves Republicans, they are also trying to get rid of any elected official who has supported President Trump, which, given his approval rating, will be most of them.

Georgia Congresswoman-elect Marjorie Taylor Greene took to Twitter to call them out on their continued subversion of the Republican party.

“The Lincoln Project pretends to be Republican. They’re not. They’re LOSERS. Traitors dedicated to electing Radical Socialist Democrats in the name of defeating ‘Trumpism.’ Translation: They hate 75 million Americans who voted for Donald Trump & his America First policies,” Greene explained.

Greene then added a picture of a mailer sent to voters in Georgia and said, “The Socialists over at the Lincoln Project are attacking me & Kelly Loeffler. These weak failures are terrified of unapologetic successful conservative women who won’t back down from their mailer trash. We will fight for Georgia’s families, businesses, & our conservative values.”

When you click on the website for the PAC, a message is shown, which begins, “On the Ballot in Georgia: Control of the Senate, and the endurance of Trumpism.”

“Kelly Loeffler and David Perdue have proven unwilling to defend democracy, incapable of holding truth to power, and cowardly in the face of existential threat,” the message continues.

The message concludes with an appeal for funding which says, “We need your help to defeat them and swing the balance of power in the Senate.”

It was recently reported that The Lincoln Project was ranked among the top 2020 advertisers by Ad Age, which said the campaign operated with “fearlessness.”

A team of reporters and editors at Ad Age ranked The Lincoln Project as the fourth best-performing marketing brand this year, only behind TikTok, McDonald’s and Lowe’s, which took the top three spots on the list, respectively.
